Welcome to PGH Pest Control & Prevention
My name is Peter Higgs and I started PGH Pest Control in 2009 with the help and support of the Princes Trust. I was the winner of the national “Princes Trust cCelebrate Success RBS Award 2013” that was held at the London Odeon Leicester Square on 26th March 2013. See the event video here! Since starting my business in pest control I realised the need for a more environmentally friendly option with longer lasting results and a quick response for people in need of proper help.
This led to us managing the following areas to help restrict and exclude pests…
Property maintenance
Property maintenance including pest proofing buildings, weed control, and woodworm professionally know as wood-boring insects.
Other Services
We also keep honeybees and remove swarms and established colonies from buildings.
We now have three healthy honeybee colonies which we look after and manage; these have all been honeybees in chimneys and cavity walls.
We are also very involved in preventing pest birds such as pigeons, starlings, jackdaws and seagulls.
Hygiene
Hygiene including rubbish clearance, wash rooms, deep cleaning removal of contaminated rodent, bird and pest droppings from loft spaces and the like.
